As the owner of Yilmaz Academy, I dedicate my time and effort to bring up future soccer players. Whether an amateur or experienced, any level has a place in my academy. I strive to instill the principles I have learned over the years in my professional career to those who believe in the game. In the end I hope I can make a difference in the world, not just in Virginia.
The Journey
Born in Turkey, Muzaffer Ihsan Yilmaz moved to the United States when he was only a year old. He lived in five different states, moving frequently. Growing up, he played in top academies around the United States and signed his first professional contract at the age of 18. He then moved to Portugal and played professionally there. After his time in Portugal, Muzaffer Ihsan Yilmaz wanted to impact kids’ lives, touch their hearts, and leave a legacy. He started a coaching program, Yilmaz Academy, as a small passion project, which he grew into a successful coaching business. As of now, he has coached over 400 kids. Simultaneously, he works as an official scout in the transfer market for Christian Benteke within a large soccer agency. He is also the owner of several other online soccer coaching programs and facilitates the transfer of professional players internationally.
